Deborah J. Hamilton
Deborah Hamilton has served as the President of Hamilton Advisors since its inception in 1980 when she co-founded the firm with her late husband, both of whom had considerable prior experience in the investment field. Ms. Hamilton began her career in 1972 at ISI Corporation, a large investment firm in San Francisco that managed three mutual funds in addition to corporate pension funds. While there she was a securities analyst and portfolio manager and also co-managed a large bond portfolio for a West Coast insurance company. Additionally, she was instrumental in developing one of the first computerized bond analysis programs.
Ms. Hamilton works closely with J. Brock Hamilton, the other principal of Hamilton Advisors, advising clients, determining investment strategies and overseeing the management of clients’ portfolios. Additionally, she serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of the firm.
As a long-time resident of Greenwich, Connecticut she continues to actively participate in her community where over the years she has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations.
J. Brock Hamilton
Senior Vice President
J. Brock Hamilton, Senior Vice President, joined Hamilton Advisors in 1987. Prior to that he was an account executive with Drexel Burnham Lambert and PaineWebber in Darien, CT. He began his career in 1981 in the investment and commercial real estate brokerage business with Centex Beverage in Austin Texas after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas.
Mr. Hamilton is primarily involved with equity and fixed income trading, portfolio analysis and asset allocation.
